(whether you believe it or not).

I know a few folks who are struggling and my heart is with them. I understand things are going to be dramatically different and not in a good way. I’ve even watched The Heritage Foundation’s training videos on ProPublica’s YouTube. What’s going to happen isn’t pretty. But that doesn’t mean we should “check out.” 

When we ignore fascism, it wins. Understand, we don’t get to pick when that happens. We only get to pick how we respond to it. Fascists do not care if they’re inconvenient. They only care about being fascists.  We don’t get to decide when it’s time to defend ourselves from danger. We just have to do it when the need arises. Like now.

The nazis are inside the house. There’s only two strategies at this point. You’re either kissing ass or kicking it. Ignoring the nazi in your face isn’t an option. You can try all you like, fascism found us.

Special note to the apolitical, all you’re saying when you’re bringing up how much you don’t like politics is “I don’t know what’s going on.” The good guys can’t trust you, and the bad guys try to recruit you. It’s a bad way to be when your home is being taken over. It’s a luxury. It shows a life of contentment and not having to get involved. It shows being sheltered. That’s all gone now. You can wake up.
