Most times we don’t get to choose where our money goes. We may not want it to wind up in the hands of billionaires, but if you purchase food, healthcare, a vehicle, a computer, and a whole host of other things you need, you just might be supporting billionaires. We can’t help it at this point. but sometimes we can.

It’s no secret that X and Substack are used against free people and are hate sites. However, that doesn’t stop folks from using them. I do not understand why. Let me put this as plainly as possible, if you used X or Substack recently, for any purpose, you contributed to trump’s victory. I don’t care if your name is Heather Cox Richardson, and you have a liberal following. That liberal following has to get on X or Substack to read you, therefore you’re doing the fascists favors. There is no such thing as working “with” fascists. There is only working “for” them or punching them in the face.

I left Twitter long before Elon bought it because I saw a murder in Brazil from a home camera on my feed. That was it for me. Consider the fact that if you are still there, you are “normalized” to seeing shit no one else wants to see. That’s by design. It’s so you don’t freak out when deportations start.

I’m especially disappointed in the voices of reason and leaders in the Democratic Party. Not only was their message off, their actions were too. They embraced folks like the Cheneys who have never done a good thing politically and stood to benefit from government contracts. They posted on X and Substack supporting Elon and fascists. If you are still on X and Substack after you read this, you’re a traitor. The Oligarchs may love you, but I sure don’t.
